My Personal Journey
Balance and self-pampering are important parts of caring for oneself. I have learned that overwork and self-denial benefit no one.

I finally learned this valuable lesson after over 20 years of stubbornness and overwork. I had less than flattering opinions about my own worth. In order to increase my worth, I struggled and worked harder than anyone I knew, but somehow, my inner value never increased.

Meanwhile some of my new friends were coming to me for treatments and doing other things to pamper themselves, working less and they had abundance both in their material lives, their relationships and in their attitudes. One day, I finally noticed how our lives differed. This was the two by four over my head I had needed so I started asking questions, mimicked their self-care behaviors and challenged my outdated and incorrect beliefs about my worth and about hard work and self-denial being a good thing. I soon found that my head was much clearer so I was able to learn more and do more in less time. I had more confidence in trying new things and was more excited rather than fearful in doing what I needed to do to ensure my success in crafting my ideal lifestyle.

I have always loved helping people learn to recognize their inner beauty, the abundance of love available to them at any time and to realize that the unflattering beliefs they hold about themselves are simply unquestioned opinions from others in their past who didn’t like themselves.

When I was not taking excellent care of myself, I was NOT credible in the least. I lived in a dumpy home, I dressed in dumpy clothes and I didn’t even give myself enough rest most nights. I never felt great and my enthusiasm was an effort to muster.

Once I started to get massages for myself, get enough sleep, exercise more consistently and eat better foods, I realized that the best way for people to recognize their inner beauty and abundance of love is through self-care and sending a new message to the unconscious mind where many unquestioned, negative, incorrect opinions lie in hiding.

I learned that words, unless repeated endlessly, are ineffective in questioning those nasty, incorrect opinions. Actions, on the other hand, can be quite powerful.  Because YOU will be arranging and allowing regular self-care into your life, your unconscious mind will have no choice, but to not only question and eliminate its own negative beliefs, but you will have sent a caring, loving message to fill the new void.

When my clients understand these new methods of thinking and being, it is the ultimate high for me. Thoughts are energy and when someone begins to recognize their own worth and love and they show it through self-care, it energetically affects the world by overpowering some of the negative energy sent out by others who are where I was or worse in self-neglect and self-loathing.

Self-worth is a lesson that absolutely needs repeating. After a lifetime of low self-worth, watching TV and movies with characters with low self worth, listening to friends and aquaintences who mistake self-deprecation for humility, the truth needs frequent reintroductions to our subconscious minds.

I am always on the search for additional, powerful and luxurious methods of self-care that help us achieve the results that we seek in our lives.
